In addition to the titles above, there are two further titles awarded honorifically by FIAP in recognition of a photography artist's contributions to FIAP and to the art of photography in general. ESFIAP and HonEFIAP applications are discussed and evaluated at one of FIAP's regular Board of Directors meetings. The "Honorary Excellence FIAP" (HonEFIAP) title is the highest honor that the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) can bestow on a holder of the ESFIAP title. The number of living holders of this award is limited to a number set by the FIAP Board of Directors.
