TFSF Approval is a statement that the competition complies with the rules of the art of photography, and that the rights of the participant and the organizer will be protected. The approval fee payable for the work carried out at this approval stage covers the prestige and quality standard gained by the competition, the consultancy provided at every stage of the competition, the infrastructure and system usage for online competitions, the provision of the TFSF representative to be assigned to the competition and certain related expenses, the publication and announcement of posters/banners on the official website for the promotion of the competition, and TFSF Medal fees.
These approval and service fees are valid as of February 10, 2026; the TFSF management may update the fees in line with evolving economic conditions.

** 1. TFSF-approved online national competitions shall be conducted through the TFSF web platform.
** 2. Upon the written request of the organizing institution and by a resolution of the Board of Directors, permission may be granted for the organizing institution to use its own institutional online platform.

4. INCLUDED IN THE FEE
a. Consultancy provided at every stage of the competition,
b. Use of TFSF's infrastructure and system for online competitions (applies to items 1-a, 2-a and 3),
c. Provision of, and attendance fee for, the TFSF Competition Representative to be assigned to the competition (*item 2-b is excepted, and a jury room chair must be present at the competition),
d. Promotion and announcement of the competition: publication of a poster/banner on the official "TFSF Approved Competitions" web page. Banners are published continuously for the last 2 months before the competition's final entry date (for additional duration, see 7-b). For competitions organized by TFSF member associations, they are published for the last 4 months.

6. ADDITIONAL CATEGORY FEE

7. PROMOTION PACKAGE:
A: Competitions granted TFSF approval are, as part of the fee, added to the list of open competitions on the relevant site where the competition is listed, and the schedule of rules and other information is published. For visual promotion and announcement purposes, a banner prepared by the organization under appropriate conditions is published on the official competitions web page starting 30 days before the competition's final entry date.
B: Those who purchase the PROMOTION PACKAGE additionally receive promotion on TFSF's social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) most followed in Türkiye by the relevant target audience:
a. Published when the competition is first announced, 30 days and 3 days before the final entry date, and when the results are announced.
b. A banner or similar advertisement for the competition, prepared to a size suitable for the advertising columns, is published on TFSF's official main web page.
c. On the TFSF competitions site, a banner prepared by the organization under appropriate conditions is published from the first announcement date until the final entry date.
d. The Promotion Package fee has been set at 6,500 TL + VAT.
8. SPECIAL PROVISIONS
a. The "travel" expenses of the TFSF competition representative assigned to competitions, and the "meal" and "accommodation" expenses throughout the event, are not included in the TFSF approval fees; these expenses are covered by the organizing institution.
b. From the moment a competition receives TFSF support and approval, its schedule of rules is published and announced at tfsfonayliyarismalar.org. However, promotional banners that the organizing institution prepares in a size suitable for the TFSF competitions site are published starting two months before the competition's final entry date and until the final entry date. Promotion for a longer period is subject to an additional fee.
c. Prices are exclusive of VAT. Invoices are issued with 20% VAT added to all fees.
d. An "approval" protocol is signed between the organizing institution and the TFSF Economic Enterprise.
e. The approval number and the TFSF Competition Representative are finalized once the determined fee has been deposited into the TFSF Economic Enterprise account.
9. TFSF MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS
a. A TFSF member association does not pay an approval fee for competitions it organizes under its own name, limited to 3 national/international competitions per year (see 8-c) (including prestige competitions), whether entry is paid or free.
b. If a TFSF member association acts together with a solution partner during the competition process, the approval-fee exemption does not apply. That is, if any solution partner (organizing/coordinating institution, organization or person) is involved in the competition process, the TFSF approval fee must be paid.
c. A TFSF member association is responsible for the approval fee and other charges payable to FIAP for an international competition it organizes (whether entry is paid or free).
d. Even where a TFSF member association is exempt from the approval fee, it remains responsible for the attendance fee, travel, meals, accommodation, etc. expenses of the TFSF competition representative assigned to the competition. In line with the TFSF Board of Directors' principle that "TFSF Competition Representatives do not receive an attendance fee from the organizing institution under any circumstances," the attendance fee for the representative to be appointed by TFSF (calculated with taxes and transfer costs added) must be deposited by the association into TFSF's relevant account before approval. This fee is paid by TFSF to the competition representative. The TFSF competition representative may, if they wish, donate this amount, or part of it, to the association. (If, during the competition-approval application process, the TFSF competition representative applies to TFSF with a signed petition stating that they accept performing the duty voluntarily, the association does not pay the fee referred to in this item).
Account number for depositing the approval fee:
a. The total of the TFSF approval fee plus VAT is deposited, net and without deductions, by the organizing institution at the approval stage into the TFSF Economic Enterprise (demand deposit TL account) at Ziraat Katılım Bankası / Kızılay Branch (Account No.: 3-2378935-1 - IBAN No.: TR38 0020 9000 0237 8935 0000 01), stating the competition's approval number and name. An invoice is issued once a copy of the receipt is sent to our unit together with the invoicing information.
b. For FIAP approval, a fee is paid to FIAP's bank account per category (for Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals + 6 Honorable Mentions + the FIAP Best Author badge); current information on this fee and other points to note can be obtained from the TFSF FIAP Representative's office at the competition-approval stage.
